Tina L. Washington is a person who believes that everyone has hidden strengths to overcome any and all obstacles life may throw at them. As a counselor she realizes that some have the ability to access their own strengths and others need a little help realizing their strengths. Counseling gives Tina the opportunity to show each person she serves the opportunity to see they have the power to change how they feel. Her number one goal is to help them strategically plan to learn who they are and understand why they may be feeling the way they feel. Tina also strives to teach each client to think positive thoughts and to make healthy choices and decisions for their lives. Tina is a firm believer that if given the chance anyone can commit to self-exploration, self-growth, and an ultimate change that leads to desired positive outcomes in their life and in their relationships with others.
Tina is also a first-generation college graduate and has sparked the fire of education within her family. She knows the struggle of most kids and serves as a guiding light to show others them that they can make it just as she did.
